SHREVEPORT, La. Police detained a 23-year-old Alabama man in Shreveport, Louisiana, today.

That's after a 12-year-old girl accused him of raping her aboard a Greyhound bus.

The incident allegedly happened aboard a Greyhound bus that left Dallas last night with Atlanta as its final destination.

During a stop in Longview, police say the girl approached them and reported the alleged rape. Longview police sent word ahead to Shreveport, where police met the bus at the downtown depot and detained the man. Police say he had blood on his clothes.

Shreveport police Detective L-A Montgomery says the girl was in the on-board restroom when the man allegedly forced his way in.

Nearly 40 passengers were detained
and questioned early today before they were put aboard another bus for the rest of their trip.

My hatred for the race of niggers seems to be growing lately. When I read of a rape of a young girl, probably white, and the evil dark-skinned hellhound says it was "coon-sensual", it makes me want to bring back l*inching!!!!!!!!!!

The incident allegedly happened after the bus left Dallas Monday night with Atlanta as its final destination.

During a stop in Longview, Texas, police said the girl approached them and reported the alleged rape. Longview police sent word ahead to Shreveport, where police met the bus at the downtown depot and detained Lakelvius Swain, of Talladega, Ala. Police said he had blood on his clothes.

A 12-year-old Longview girl traveling alone on a Greyhound bus was allegedly raped in the bus restroom while on a trip to her grandmother's home. The suspect, Lakeluis Swain, 23, of Alabama, says the sex was consensual and says the girl told him she was 19-years-old. Police in Longview, Texas say the girl told investigators she was raped somewhere between Dallas, where she boarded the bus, and Tyler, Texas. Officers say the girl got off the bus in Longview, was picked up by a relative, and taken to her grandmother's home. The girl then told her grandmother about the alleged rape, police said. Shreveport police arrested Swain as a fugitive and said he would be charged by Texas authorities w
ith rape.

ead to Shreveport, where police met the bus at the downtown depot and detained the man early Tuesday morning. Police say he had blood on his clothes. Detectives, believing the suspect had flush a gun down the toilet in the bus, held the bus in Shreveport as evidence. The nearly 40 passengers on board questioned and then transferred to another bus. The bus left Dallas last night with Atlanta as its final destination.

As detectives brought Swaine into Shreveport Police Headquarters for questioning, KSLA NEWS 12 Reporter Candice Jones asked the suspect, "Did you do what that young lady said you did?" "No, not forcibly. She lied about her age," the suspect replied. Police say a passenger reportedly traveling with Swain was carrying a backpack containing swords and knives.

Alabama Man Arrested After 12-Year-Old Claims He Raped Her on a Bus

Police have arrested an Alabama man after a 12-year-old accused him of rape. The girl claims it happened on a bus leaving Shreveport.

Shreveport detectives rushed to the downtown Greyhound bus terminal after getting a disturbing call from detectives across the state line in Longview, Texas.

Detective L.A. Montgomery: A llegedly, a black male forced his way into a bathroom on a Greyhound bus and forcibly raped a 12-year-old girl...

Police say the girl was traveling a
lone and got off the bus in Longview, where she was heading to her grandmother's home. She then told her
grandmother about the alleged sexual assault and that the man was still on the bus.

Detective L.A. Montgomery: We got the call from Longview that the bus was coming in and the suspect was on the bus and they asked us to detain him...

Officers say they found the man with blood on his clothing. As police escorted him to jail, he did not deny having sex with the girl, but says the girl told him she was 19 years old, not 12.

Officers say a passenger traveling with the suspect had a backpack loaded with swords and knives. They uncovered that during a four-hour search of the bus.

The suspect, a 23-year-old from Alabama, was handed over to Longview police and taken back to Texas to face charges of rape.
