LANDIS, NC (WBTV) - Three men and a juvenile were arrested last week in connection with the robbery and beating of a store clerk on May 9 near Landis in Rowan County.
The incident happened when police said a man tried unsuccessfully to purchase cigars at Krish Express Exxon in Landis on May 9. The man, police said, returned later that night with three other people and robbed the store clerk in the parking lot.
An anonymous tip lead to the arrest of three of the men and a juvenile who police say were involved in the incident.

Harper and Xavier Parks were charged in connection with the beating and robbery, Landis police said. A fourth suspect was arrested, but he is a juvenile and police could not release his name.
Landis police executed a search warrant at Crawford's resident on Friday, recovering two stolen wallets -- one belonging to Patel, and a second belonging to Arkim Wallace, a pizza delivery driver who was robbed on S. Highland Ave., Landis in early April, police said.
Parks and Harper were each charged with one count of common law robbery and released on $10,000 bonds.
Crawford was charged with one count of common law robbery, two counts of felony possession of stolen property, and one count each of simple possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, police said.
Crawford is currently being held in the Rowan County Detention Center under a $75,000 secured bond.
