Police say boy, 16, shot deliveryman

Homicide detectives tonight charged a 16-year-old boy with murder and related offenses in connection with the slaying of a pizza delivery man during a botched robbery Sunday night West Oak Lane.
Martique Daughtry shot Abraham Cisse, a 26-year-old West African immigrant who lived in West Philadelphia, in the forehead after luring him with a phony pizz
order. according to Homicide Lt. Philip Riehl.
Investigators were trying to determine whether Daughtry, who lives on 74th Avenue and attends Martin Luther King High School in East Germantown, had ac

Riehl would not disclose what led investiga
tors to Daughtry, other than that they were able to track down the origin of the calls that lured Cisse to the holdup, and that lead them to the suspect.
The initial finding of the investigation was that Cisse - who worked at Papa's Perfect Pizza - was called to 7400 block of Andrews Avenue about 9 p.m. for the purpose of robbing him, but something went wrong. The robber shot Cisse, but left behind the victim's money and cell phone. The only thing that was apparently taken was the pizza.
Cisse died Monday at Albert Einstein Medical Center of complications from the shooting.
Police believe that the robber was Daughtry - who lives nearby - and the weapon he used was a .380-caliber semiautomatic pistol. It has not been
recovered.
Investigators said the resident at the address on the delivery order had not phoned Papa's Perfect Pizza, leading them to believe that the call was made as part of a well-
plan
ned

old up a deliveryman on the quiet, residential block. Papa's Per
fect Pizza, located in a busy strip of Wadsworth Avenue in Cedarbrook, is about a mile and a half away.
