MACON, Ga. — A woman was arrested in Macon after the Bibb County Sheriff's Office says she set a home on fire and attempted to burn a woman, according to a press release from the sheriff's office.

They say it all started as a fight on Sunday in the 3800 block of Log Cabin Drive on Sunday, and it ended with 53-year-old Kimberly Lashawn Brooks behind bars, the sheriff's office said.

The sheriff's office says the call came in just before 11:45 a.m. on Sunday and, when authorities arrived, they found a 25-year-old woman outside of a home with gasoline poured all over her.

They say a fire was also set inside the residence, which was subsequently put out.

After the investigation, they say investigators identified Brooks as the suspect.
