Police: Florida woman pulled gun from purse, killed fellow Uber passenger during night out​

MIAMI —

A Florida woman has been arrested and accused of shooting and killing a woman during an Uber ride after a night out in Miami.
According to NBC Miami, Natalia Harrell, 24, is charged with second-degree murder in the killing of Glady Borcela. Police said Harrell and Borcela were friends.
Witnesses told police Harrell and Borcela were out with others for a night of fun on Saturday in South Beach.
The women were reportedly taking an Uber to Downtown Miami when a fight between Harrell and Borcela escalated.
According to Local 10, surveillance video from inside the Uber shows the argument turn physical.
Witnesses told police that Harrell then ended up in the front of the Uber and kept shouting, “You don’t want this, you don’t want me to go in my purse,” the report states.

Investigators said that the video shows Harrell reaching into her purse, pulling out a gun and firing a single shot at Borcela.
Borcela was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead.
