Jackson, TN – U.S. Marshal Tyreece Miller announces the arrest of Quadarious Greer for First Degree Murder.

On June 6, 2021, Tanyarris Maxwell was shot to death at the 1300 block of North Parkway in Jackson, TN. A warrant was issued for first degree murder for Quadarious Greer for this crime. The case was adopted by the Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task Force.

Greer was tracked to an apartment at the 260 block of Moize Cut Off Road in Jackson, TN. He was taken into custody without incident.

Nicholas Ivie also had a First Degree Murder warrant for this crime. He was captured by the Marshals Task Force on Hwy. 79 in Gadsden, TN back on June 9, 2021.

“Our Task Force has been working diligently to capture both murder fugitives,” said Marshal Tyreece Miller. “Our persistence has paid off, and I’m pleased we’re able to bring them both to justice.

The U.S. Marshals Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task Force is a multi-agency task force in the Western District of Tennessee with offices in Memphis and Jackson. Its membership is composed of Deputy U.S. Marshals, Shelby County Sheriff’s Deputies, Memphis Police Officers, Fayette County Sheriff’s Deputies, Jackson Police Officers, and Special Agents with the Tennessee Department of Correction. The primary mission of the Task Force is to arrest violent offenders and sexual predators.

2 charged in Friday night homicide near Muse Park, third suspect sought

JACKSON, Tenn. — Jackson police have charged two people in connection with a shooting last week on North Parkway.

Police responded around 8:20 p.m. on Friday, June 4 to the shooting at 1341 North Parkway, where investigators found 18-year-old Tanyarris Maxwell suffering from gunshot wounds.
Police say Maxwell was taken to Jackson-Madison County General Hospital, where he died due to his injuries.
Jackson police confirmed two people have been arrested and charged in connection with Maxwell’s death.
Police say Nicholas Ivie, 19, and Kevon Womack, 21, were arraigned on Friday, June 11. They are each charged with first-degree murder.
They are each held without bond.
Investigators are still searching for a third suspect, 19-year-old Quadarius Greer.
