Police Say Homeless Man Slashed Man At Blue-Line Station

CHICAGO -- Police are looking for a man who slashed the face and neck of an Indiana man returning from a Chicago Cubs game Chicago evening.
The 28-year-old victim was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital for treatment. Police spokeswoman Alice Casanova said his injuries are not life-threatening.
Casanova declined to release the victim's name. She said he's fr
m Hammond, Indiana.
The attack occurred around 8:10 p.m. on a Chicago Transit Authority Blue Line platform in the Loop.
Police said the attacker pulled out a "cutting instrument" af
ter the victim refused to hand over money.
The suspect, who is known to police, is
a black male in his 30s, between 5'7" and 5'9" tall, with braided hair and a glass eye.
The attacker may have made his getaway by boarding a train after stabbing the man.
