The synthetic pot found in his car could turn prove to be the least embarrassing part of Kellen Winslow’s recent run-in with the police.

According to a police report obtained by NJ.com, a female witness called the cops on Winslow, a tight end who spent the 2013 season with the Jets, because she believed he was masturbating in his vehicle.

The redacted report states:

“As she exited her vehicle, she commented to the male regarding how cold it was. As she stood near the open driver side window of the Escalade , she observed the males [sic] erect penis. She stated that she believed he was masturbating. [The woman] provided a written statement regarding her account.”

According to the report, when cops approached Winslow, he said he was looking for a Boston Market (to choke his chicken), but couldn’t find it. When police approached Winslow went from “slouched in his seat and moving around” to an upright position. His genitals were not exposed, but officers saw “two open containers of Vaseline on his center console.” :p

The cops also observed multiple bags labeled “Mr. Happy” and “Funky Monkey.” Winslow, who was suspended four games for illegal substance abuse during the Jets season, allegedly told them that he buys the synthetic online and at gas station and the NFL does not test for it.

Winslow has been charged with possession of synthetic marijuana.

He was scheduled to be arraigned Thursday on a felony count of first-degree burglary

Former NFL Player Kellen Winslow Jr. was arrested by deputies at his Encinitas home Thursday on a warrant and is facing kidnapping, rape, sodomy and residential burglary charges, the San Diego County Sheriff's Department (SDSO) said.

The warrant was issued Thursday morning and Winslow was taken into custody hours later, the District Attorney's office said.

He was charged with two counts of kidnapping with the intent to commit rape, two counts of forcible rape, one count of forcible sodomy, one count of forcible oral copulation, two counts of residential burglary and one count of indecent exposure.

SDSO Lt. Michael Blevins told NBC 7 there were multiple victims associated with the new charges but would not say how many. Blevins said the alleged incidents happened in the Encinitas area, but not in the Park Encinitas mobile home park where he was arrested last Thursday, June 7.

An eagle-eyed neighbor helped crack the bizarre case of a former NFL star now accused in a slew of attacks on women.

It was just after 2:30 p.m. on June 7 when the Encinitas, Calif., resident spotted him: a muscled, hulking, 6-foot-4 stranger emerging from her 86-year-old neighbor’s mobile home.

He had no shirt on. And no reason to be there, she found when she confronted him.

“ ‘I’m just looking for my dog,’ ” she recalled him saying.

“I go, ‘What dog?’ and he said, ‘A red dog, Clifford.’ And I went, ‘There’s no dog here.’ ”

He hopped in a black SUV and left, but the woman called cops, who soon arrested a man near the trailer park on a burglary charge, according to a report.

It was Kellen Winslow Jr., once the highest paid tight end in the league and the son of San Diego Chargers Hall of Famer Kellen Winslow Sr.

Winslow, whose publicist downplayed the arrest, posted bail the next day and was released. But prosecutors say the incident was a critical clue for authorities who a week later charged Winslow Jr. over a string of sexual attacks from March to May 2018 on women in Encinitas., where he lives.

Winslow stands accused of targeting five women, ages 54 to 86, in charges including forcible sodomy, rape and kidnapping. If convicted, he could end up behind bars for the rest of his life.

His lawyer denied the allegations to The Post on Saturday.

“Of course not,” Brian Watkins said when asked if the charges were true. “He didn’t do these things.”

In two of the cases, police say, Winslow allegedly found his victims as they hitchhiked.

He drove the women to remote locations, where he raped them, according to police.

The first victim, age 54, was attacked on March 17.

Winslow Jr. “told her if she screamed, he would murder her,” San Diego County Deputy District Attorney Dan Owens told the San Diego Union-Tribune.

Another victim, 59, was sodomized, authorities said.

In a third incident, Winslow is accused of exposing himself to a 55-year-old woman gardening in her front yard. He was charged with burglary with intent to rape of both a 71-year-old woman and the 86-year-old in the Park Encinitas trailer park.

Winslow’s family is standing by him.

“On behalf of our son and my husband, we want to reiterate our love, support and affection for him during this difficult process,” his wife, Janelle, and father, Winslow Sr., said.

Winslow was drafted in 2004 and played 10 seasons in the NFL. He had a short stint with the New York Jets in 2013.

Kellen Winslow Jr. Back In Jail, Lewd Conduct with 77-Year-Old
Breaking News

Ex-NFL star Kellen Winslow Jr. is back behind bars following TWO new allegations of sexual deviance ... this time, he's accused of touching himself in front of a 77-year-old woman.

Remember, Winslow had been out on bail while fighting allegations he raped 3 women. Officials say 2 of the women were transients who were kidnapped by the former tight end.

A 3rd woman claims Winslow raped her 15 years ago while she was unconscious.

If convicted on all counts, Winslow faces up to life in prison. Bail was set at $2 million, which he posted back in July.

But, according to officials, Winslow has NOT been living up to the terms of his bail -- and now, prosecutors claim he committed more sexual impropriety just last month.

Officials say Winslow was working out at a San Diego area gym on Feb. 13 -- when he started touching himself and asking a nearby elderly woman if she liked it.

The very next week, the woman claims she was in a hot tub at the same gym when Winslow once again engaged in lewd conduct. The woman says she got out of the tub and reported Winslow.

She also claims Winslow reached out and touched her arm and foot as she tried to leave.

Winslow was formally charged with 2 counts of lewd conduct, 1 count of battery of an elder and 1 count of willful cruelty to an elder.

The judge in Winslow's case revoked his bail on Monday and ordered him to be locked up.

He's due back in court later Tuesday.

Winslow played in the NFL from 2004 to 2013 -- and made the Pro Bowl in 2007 as a tight end for the Cleveland Browns.

Kellen Winslow Jr. rape accuser claims ‘he threatened to kill me’

VISTA, Calif. — A female hitchhiker who accused former NFL player Kellen Winslow Jr. of raping her after he picked her up testified Tuesday that she did not flee or defend herself because the muscular football star had threatened to kill her.

Winslow’s attorneys said the two had consensual sex and suggested she had a drinking problem. They said she has given inconsistent statements and lied to the jury about being sober for 30 years, pointing out that she has been arrested 11 times for public intoxication.

The woman, identified as Jane Doe 1, is the first of five accusers expected to take the stand.

Winslow is accused of raping three women and exposing himself to two others. All are expected to testify.

The former football star, and son of Hall of Famer Kellen Winslow, has pleaded not guilty to 12 counts.

The 55-year-old Jane Doe 1 described in detail how Winslow drove her to a shopping center parking lot after picking her up in March 2018 and then raped her in his vehicle.

“He threatened to kill me, and I really believed that he would have,” she testified.

Winslow’s attorney Marc Carlos in cross-examining the woman asked if she remembered taking the witness stand at a preliminary hearing in July and pointing at defense lawyer Brian Watkins when asked to identify her attacker.

Winslow and Watkins are both black.

“Yes, I made a mistake,” the woman said Tuesday.

Carlos asked if she had been drinking before Winslow gave her a ride. She said she had not.

He asked if she ever drank. She also said no.

When he pointed out that she had been arrested for public intoxication as recently as January, she answered that she had been on cough medicine and been sober for 30 years.

After the jury was excused for lunch, Carlos told the judge the witness should be dismissed.

“It’s not about her drinking, it’s about her lying,” Carlos said.

Judge Blaine Bowman said he would allow the defense to question her about five arrests for public intoxication dating back to 2014. He said he was allowing the questioning because her statement about being sober 30 years had made her credibility an issue.

When asked about the arrests, she told the court “I was not sober every day for the past 30 years” but added later that she is not the one on trial.

Prosecutor Dan Owens said the woman’s desire to hide her drinking should not obscure the fact that she was attacked.

The woman took the stand after a DNA expert testified that traces of Winslow’s sperm were found on a pair of pants the woman provided to authorities after reporting she was raped.

She refused to undergo a physical examination at the time.

On Tuesday, Jane Doe 1 struggled to identify his Hummer when shown a photograph and said he called himself Dominic and later said he identified himself as Michael.

She said after they parked behind a grocery store, Winslow got out of the vehicle and climbed over a 5-foot-high chain link fence to a dirt patch covered in ice plant where he said they would have sex.

“So the man you are afraid of was now separated from you by a fence taller than you?” Carlos asked.

She told the defense she could not explain why she continued to follow him and then climbed back over the fence again after he decided to go back to the vehicle where he raped her. She also said she does not know why she didn’t call 911 even though she had a cellphone with her.

“I was terrified,” she said.

She went to authorities four days later.

Winslow later befriended a 59-year-old homeless woman who said he sodomized her a year ago, according to the prosecution. Shortly after that a woman said she had been sexually assaulted by Winslow when she was 17 in 2003.

Watkins contended the women were trying to prey on Winslow amid news coverage of the rape allegations and that their accounts have been inconsistent.

Drafted No. 6 overall in 2004 by Cleveland, Winslow broke his right leg in his rookie season then sustained a serious right knee injury in a motorcycle accident that offseason.

He played for Cleveland, Tampa Bay, New England and the New York Jets.

Former New York Jet Kellen Winslow Jr. was convicted Monday of raping a homeless woman in California — one of a slew of sexual-misconduct charges brought against the former tight end.

Winslow was also convicted of indecent exposure and lewd conduct involving two other women at his trial in San Diego Monday evening.

The jury was expected to keep deliberating on another rape allegation by a 54-year-old hitchhiker, as well as by a woman who said Winslow sexually assaulted her while she was unconscious in 2003, when she was a teenager.

All five of his accusers testified at the trial.

Winslow, who also played for the Cleveland Browns, Tampa Bay Bucs and New England Patriots, was with the Jets in 2013.

The 58-year-old homeless woman testified that Winslow befriended her in Encinitas, a beach town north of San Diego, and invited her to have coffee with him in May 2018. He then raped her next to his car, she said.

Another woman, a 57-year-old, testified that he exposed himself to her while she was gardening in May 2018. Winslow was found guilty of indecent exposure for the incident.

And a 77-year-old woman who went to the same gym as Winslow in Carlsbad said he inappropriately touched himself in front of her while he was out on bail in February. He was found guilty of lewd conduct in that case.

After news of his arrest broke last year, a woman accused Winslow of raping her while they were at a party in a San Diego suburb in 2003.

That accuser was a 17-year-old high-school student at the time and Winslow, now 35, was 19 and home from college for the summer.

She claimed she passed out while at the party and woke up to find Winslow sexually assaulting her.

A hitchhiker also testified that she met Winslow in Encinitas in March 2018. He picked her up, drove her to a shopping center in the beach community and raped her in his Hummer, she said.

Prosecutors described the athlete as a “wolf in sheep’s clothing” who would sexually prey on the most vulnerable people.

His defense attorneys argued the women were trying to cash in on the multi-million-dollar fortune he made during his career in the NFL.

They also maintained that all the sexual encounters were consensual.

Winslow did not take the stand at his trial.

Winslow’s father, Kellen Winslow Sr., was a legendary tight end for the San Diego Chargers and is enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Ex-NFL tight end Kellen Winslow II was sentenced Wednesday to 14 years in state prison for committing sexual offenses against five women in northern San Diego County over the course of nearly two decades.

The 37-year-old son of former San Diego Chargers legend Kellen Winslow agreed to the 14-year sentence last month through a new plea deal that had him admitting to assault with intent to commit rape in connection with one of the victims.

The younger Winslow had already been convicted in a 2019 jury trial of rape, indecent exposure and other crimes involving three women, but the jury hung on counts involving the other two victims. Winslow later pleaded guilty to counts related to the other two women and was facing up to 18 years in prison until the new plea agreement was reached in February.

On the original charges, he faced a potential life sentence.
