LITTLE ROCK (KATV) — Little Rock police are searching for a man who stole a miniature poodle out of someone's front lawn last week and was holding him for ransom.

Jeremy Shapley's let his dog named Vino out at his home on Mountain Drive in Little Rock on Sept. 11 around 6:45 p.m. 15 minutes later, he was missing.

One of Shapley's neighbors offered him doorbell surveillance footage from the evening that shows a DoorDash driver delivering a pizza nearby, according to a Facebook post from a neighbor. A second person was seen getting out of the delivery car and picking Vino up out of the lawn. The dog can reportedly be heard in the video barking and yelping until the car door closes, according to the post.

Little Rock police have identified the dognapper as Tyler Brown after reviewing the video.

One week after he was stolen, police were able to find Vino and reunite him with his owners. But when they found him, he had a broken leg and other injuries. Brown was holding Vino for ransom and demanding a reward for his return, according to a Facebook post from the Little Rock Police Department.
