AKRON, Ohio -- An Akron woman was arrested Tuesday and charged with felony child endangering for allegedly tying up and beating her 2-year-old son.
Raymona Henderson, 24, is also changed with domestic violence in connection with the abuse of her son and her 6-year-old daughter.
Akron police said Henderson locked the toddler in a room after tying him up with a phone cord and shoelaces. She is also accused of beating the child with a hanger and a belt.
The incident allegedly took place over the summer.
Police said Henderson had an accomplice in mistreating the children. Clifford Smith, 31, is charged with abusing the 6-year-old girl.
Both children are now in the custody of Children's Services.
