Man Arrested For Slashing Throat Of Pregnant, Ex-Girlfriend

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- A man is in jail accused of killing his pregnant, ex-girlfriend. Michelle Knarr's body was found early Saturday morning at the Pinnacle Pointe Apartments off Jade Garden Drive. Eyewitness News has learned that Knarr, 21, tried for months to keep her accused killer from hurting her.

d a domestic injunction filed against Torres in September that foreshadowed the fear the victim had of her accused murderer.
But that was before the worst possible scenario, w
hen Knarr's current boyfriend arrived home to find the newly pregnant woman dead in their apartment with her throat slashed. A neighbor told Channel 9 what happened next.
"I just heard a guy screaming his girlfriend was dead. So I just locked the door and called 9-1-1," explained neighbor Samta Ramos.
But it was too late. Knarr's throat was reportedly cut so deep, it almost separated her head from her body. One neighbor reportedly heard the altercation, but most heard nothing.
Knarr reportedly kicked Torres out three months ago. Detectives arrested Torres on Saturday in his new Osceola County neighborhood, where neighbors refused to talk to reporters.
Torres is being held at the Orange County jail on no bond.
