MUNCIE, Ind. -- Police this week arrested a 24-year-old man accused of injuring his wife's infant son by thrusting him out a car window and dropping him.
Man Charged With Battery, Neglect, Intimidation
Authorities said they were trying to determine whether Rondal Camp
ell, of Muncie, dropped the child accidentally or intentionally.
The 1-month-old child was dropped from a window of a parked car onto the ground on Wednesday outside 613 N. State St., police said.<b

The baby was then taken to Ball Memorial Hospital, where he was being treated Friday. Details about injuries weren
't immediately available.
Authorities said Campbell and his wife, Melishia Campbell, were preparing to take the baby to a doctor appointment when the couple began arguing over an issue not related to the child.
Rondal Campbell, who was in a parked car with the baby, eventually decided that his wife should take the infant to the appointment in a separate car, Muncie police Detective Jami Brown said.
The man wanted to leave without the baby, so he thrust the child out the window, and the baby fell, Brown said.
Rondal Campbell was being held Friday on charges of battery, neglect of a dependent and intimidation.
Police said Rondal Campbell learned a few d
ays ago that he wasn't the child's biological father.
