One Seahawks rookie has suffered serious consequences for trying to sneak an unauthorized woman dressed as a player into a restricted area.

Seattle cut rookie cornerback Kemah Siverand this week “after he was caught on video trying to sneak a female visitor into the team hotel,” according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.

Pelissero went on to report that the ruse was actually rather elaborate: The woman was clad in Seahawks gear “in an attempt to disguise her as a player. … It did not work.” :p

While the NFL has not implemented any kind of NHL- or NBA-style “bubble” in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, teams and players are under orders to behave responsibly in order to lower the risk of an outbreak.

It remains unclear what the true motive for the infraction was (other than muh dikk), but the risky circumstances led many to speculate that the visit was one with amorous intentions.

Siverand, 23, was an undrafted free agent out of Oklahoma State who signed with the team on May 4 and could have made an impact on special teams.

“Clear message on the responsibility everyone has in the NFL’s COVID-19 world: Put the team at risk, suffer the consequences,” Pelissero said.
