PD: Suspect assaults man at Circle K after getting his shoes bumped by door

PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) -- Authorities are looking for a man who threatened another man with a gun and punched him, after the victim bumped his shoe
when trying to leave a convenience store in west Phoenix.
According to police, on Dec. 10, 2019, the man was seen approaching and standing outside the entrance to a Circle K, near 51st Avenue and McDowell Road, around 2 a.m. The store’s surveillance shows the victim approach the door from inside and opening it to leave, bumping the suspect’s shoe.

Police say the suspect became visibly angry and went to his car to retrieve a gun. The man walks back into the store and threatened to shoot the victim before punching him and fleeing. The suspect is described as a 30 to 40-year-old man, 5'8 and 160 lbs, and wearing a black jacket.
