Police Arrest Tulsa Teen In The Jail On First-Degree Murder Complaint

19-year-old Malachi Bagsby
TULSA, Oklahoma - A Tulsa teenager is arrested on a first-degree murder complaint after police say a residential burglary back in July turned deadly.
He is identified as 19-year-old Malachi Bagsby.
Jail records show Bagsby has been behind bars since his arrest on September 21st on a burglary complaint.
On Monday, October 8th, police asked the Tulsa County DA office to charge Malachi Bagsby with first-degree murder and arrested him in his jail cell.
His arrest report shows Bagsby broke into a woman's apartment on July 19th as she slept. Police say Bagsby allegedly assaulted the resident, injuring her leg.
Investigators say the victim who was taken to a Tulsa hospital, developed a blood clot while in the hospital, causing her death.
The report says Bagsby allegedly stole the woman's debit and credit cards and used them at several stores.
