Md. wife, teen daughter, and boyfriend charged in love triangle double-murder

LOTHIAN, Md. (WJLA) - A Maryland wife, her teen daughter and her daughter's boyfriend plotted to kill her husband and another woman who was involved in a love triangle with the married couple, police said.
Ann Marie Anastasi, of Lothian, and Gabriel Ezekiel Struss, 18, of Annapolis, have each been charged with two counts of first-degree murder, among other charges, for plotting and carrying out the murder of Anthony Joseph Anastasi Jr., 40, and Jacqueline Irene Riggs, 25. Her 13-year-old daughter has been taken into custody and charged with two counts of first-degree murder and accessory after the fact, police said. The teen is in the custody of a juvenile detention facility.
"It's crazy. I didn't think that boy would do nothing like this," Struss' grandfather told WJLA's Suzanne Kennedy.
Anne Arundel County Police say they responded to a call in the 600 block of West Bay Front Road in Lothian on Monday, Oct. 5. When they arrived on scene, police say they found Anthony, who lived in the home with his wife Ann Marie and Riggs, in the master bedroom suffering from gunshot wounds. He was later pronounced dead. According to court documents, Ann Marie told police her husband had committed suicide. Police also found Riggs in the basement suffering from stab wounds. She was later pronounced dead as well. Police said Riggs had been "romantically involved" with the couple.
Shortly after Riggs moved in with the couple this past summer, Ann Marie coordinated with her daughter--one of her five children with Anthony, according to court documents--to have her husband and Riggs killed, police said. The two plotting the murders recruited Struss, the 13-year-old's boyfriend, to carry out the crime, police said.
Struss' older brother told Kennedy, "That's not something you would see him doing."
