NYPD video released Sunday shows a crook roughing up a diabled man in a wheelchair and stealing from him on a Staten Island bus earlier this month, police said.
The brazen robbery happened around 9 p.m. on Aug. 13 on the S40 MTA bus, cops said.
The thief stood up directly behind the 64-year-old victim, who was sitting in a wheelchair, and removed $250 cash from his shirt pocket as the bus stopped at Clinton Avenue and Richmond Terrace, cops said.

The man in the wheelchair got up briefly as if to fight the crook, but then sat back down. The thief got off the bus and fled in an unknown direction. The victim was not injured.
The crook is described as a man in his 20s, who’s 5’7″ and 160 pounds, cops said. He was last seen wearing a black “TLC” t-shirt, black Nike basketball shorts, white socks and black sandals.

Police also released surveillance video of the crook from a store at 1 Richmond Terrace. The video clearly shows his face.
