Irwin (KDKA) A Westmoreland County woman told police a man armed with a knife jumped into her car and attacked her last week; now police have released a sketch of the suspect.
According to authorities, the 18-year-old woman told police she stopped her car at the intersection of Depot Alley and Sixth Street in Irwin when the suspect got into her vehicle through an unlocked passenger-side door.
The woman told police that the man forced her to drive three blocks before fighting him off. She says she got cut during the scuffle -- and he ran off.
The suspect is described as a black man in his early tw
nties with a tribal symbol tattoo on his left forearm. He was wearing a back T-shirt and baggy jeans.
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
