12-Year Old Raped: Five Arrested
Memphis police say the 12-year old was raped at the apartments on Park Lake Dr. That's also where police arrested five people on Tuesday afternoon. The Memphis Police Department is not releasing a lot of information about the incident.
Neighbors say they saw the girl going in and out of a vacant apartment on Friday. They say the girl was lying about her age to the men who were arrested.
"You was giving yourself to these guys, you was telling these guys you were 17 or
18.. the ones that did it to you," says Sharif Ellis, a resident at the apartment complex.
One neighbor notified security on Sunday that the girl had been going in and out of the apar
tment. Security had the girl in the rental office. However, neighbors say no one at the apartm
ent complex ever called the girl's mom.
Five men are in custody in the case, but they have not been charged.

Memphis sex crimes investigators charged four-men and a teenager with rape of a child.
Mario Flynn, Jamaal Flynn, David Flynn and Cedrico Medlock are all accused of assaulting a 12-year old girl this past weekend.
Officers are searching for more suspects and have not finished their investigation.
