McCall was arrested Monday by the United States Marshals Taskforce.

Montgomery’s 4th homicide investigation of 2025 started just before 1:40 a.m. that Sunday when Montgomery police and fire medics responded to the 2200 block of East South Boulevard on reports of a person having been shot. First responders found Baker’s body upon arrival.

Court filings indicate the two men were arguing, the topic of which was not disclosed, when McCall allegedly brandished a gun and fatally shot Baker.

McCall is being held at the Montgomery County Detention Facility.
