Police in Centre County continue to investigate the stabbing death of a Penn State student from Luzerne County.

Friends at home remember him as a young man filled with kindness, promise and ambition.

Those who knew Michael Donahue of Drums were not surprised to hear police believe he tried to break up a fight Friday in State College. They were shocked that his effort to help out at the nightclub resulted in a stabbing, in his death.

The killer is named "Ventura," but as seen on the 6 p.m. news, Mr. V. is a bo
on. Hopefully he is off to "nigger heaven." Now it is the duty of the courts to transform nigger heaven to nigger he
ll!

I have long believed that niggers should not be allowed to attend colleges where human (whites) are being educated. The two species clearly are not compatible. This evil boon should be swinging from a tree by a rope for ending the life of a white man. NIggers are a curse wherever they live.

STATE COLLEGE -- A State College man could face the death penalty after he was charged Tuesday with first- and third-degree murder in the death of a Penn State student killed by a single knife wound to his heart.

Josephy Alberto Ventura, 27, of 660 E. Prospect Ave., was arraigned by District Judge Jonathan Grine, who then turned the proceedings over to Centre County President Judge Charles C. Brown Jr.

Brown ordered Ventura jailed in Centre County Correctional Facility without bail.

Now, almost two months after he took office, Centre County District Attorney Michael Madeira is considering whether to seek the death penalty should Ventura be convicted.

"We have indeed begun that discussion," Madeira said. &qu
ot;We are not going to rush into that decision. This is the most serious
decision that has to be made as district attorney."

Centre County Coroner Scott Sayers ruled the death of 22-year-old Michael F. Donahue, of Drums, a homicide after an autopsy Sunday night confirmed he died of a single stab wound.

"It was right to the heart," Sayers said.

Ventura, shackled and dressed in prison garb, cried as he was led into Grine's courtroom, just a few doors down Pugh Street from Club Love, where police said he stabbed Donahue about 1:30 a.m. Friday.

Originally from the Bronx, friends said Ventura moved to State College about a year ago to live with his girlfriend, a Penn State student, and to escape street life.

Police said an altercation between several men resulted in Ventura stabbing Donahue once below his left pectoral muscle.

Club Love
bouncers tackled Ventura and held him until police arrived.

Multiple witnesses identified Ventura as the assailant, police said.

Donahue spoke to club staff, saying "some black dude just stabbed me," according t
o a criminal complaint.

By the time police arrived, he was barely conscious and unable to speak, police said.

He died Sunday in Mount Nittany Medical Center's intensive care unit, never having regained consciousness.

Ventura repeatedly told police, according to court documents, that "he punched my girl, he punched my wife and she's pregnant."

Ventura's girlfriend, who spoke on the condition her name not be printed, told the Centre Daily Times that although she was in Club Love at the time of the altercation, she did not see the stabbing, was not hit
by anyone and is not pregnant.

Police said they later found a household paring knife, with a 3-inch blade, in Ventura's coat.

Man charged wit
h murder in stabbing

A man accused of fatally stabbing a Drums native at a nightclub in State College was charged Tuesday with murder. State College Police Department filed first- and third-degree murder charges Tuesday against Josephy Alberto Ventura, 27, of East Prospect Avenue, State College, two days after Michael F. Donahue, 22, a student at Penn State, died from injuries he suffered at the bar, police said.

When police arrived, they found Donahue lying in f
ront of the bar at Tony's Big Easy with two men over top of him attending to his wound.

Donahue was taken to Mount Nittany Medical Center for emergency treatment.

Moments earlier, Donahue had been observed upstairs as the altercation was ending. At that moment, Donahue started to appear dazed and looked down at his chest. He realized that he had been stabbed and lifted his shirt to observe his wound, police wrote in the affidavit.

When someone in the bar asked Donahue what happened, Donahue replied, Some black dude just stabb
ed me.

Ventura and Walsh were taken to the police barracks for questioning and were held in separate cells.

While being held, an officer noticed that Ventura was shuffling around in his cell and it appeared as if he was cramming something into his jacket.

When Ventura was removed from the cell for questioning, he was searched and police found a wooden-handled knife inside the left lining of his jacket.

>Ventura told police that the knife was in his pocket because he used it to work on his car Thursday. When police asked him why the knife had blood on it, Ventura said it was his from working on his car Thursday, though he had no injuries to prove the blood belonged to him.

When Ventura was interviewed, he told police that he went to the club with Fisher and Walsh and that Fisher had been mushed by a white male.

When police asked what that meant, Ventura said someone punched my girl in the face and another one pun
ched her in the stomach.

If he had said, "some nigger just stabbed me," he would have been charged with a hate crime.
