Five men arrested in a series of anti-terror raids in th
e South East last week have been charged with terrorist offences.
Two other men, also arrested during the raids, were released on bail pending further inquiries.
More than 700 poli

ers were in
volved in the operation, which came as half-a-ton of ammonium nitrate fertiliser was seized from a west London self-storage unit.
Four of the men
were charged with conspiracy to cause an explosion likely to endanger life or injure property under the Explosives Substance Act 1883.
They include Anthony Garcia, 21, of Ilford, Essex; 20-year-old Jawad Akbar from Crawley, West Sussex; Omar Khyam, 22, of Crawley and 32-year-old Waheed Mahmoud, also from Crawley.
The men are alleged to have "unlawfully and maliciously" conspired, with a 17-year-old male who has already appeared in court, to cause an explosion between October 1 2003 and March 31 this year.
Three men - Garcia, Khyam and Nabeel Hussain, 18, from Horley, Surrey - were charged under the 2000 Terrorism Ac
t with possession of an article for purposes of terrorism.
The trio were charged with possession of 600kg of ammonium nitrate fertiliser between November 11 2003 and March 31,

They are accused of possessing the fertiliser "in circumstances which gave rise to reasonable su
spicion that your possession was for a purpose connected with the commission, preparation or instigation of an act of terrorism".
All five men are due to appear at Belmarsh Magistrates Court, south east London on Sat*rday.
A 21-year-old man was de-arrested under the Terrorism Act and arrested under the Police and Criminal Evidence Act in connection with alleged forgery and theft offences.
Another man, aged 19, was also de-arrested under the Terrorism Act and arrested under the Police and Criminal Evidence Act in connection with alleged theft and deception offences.
Both men have been bailed to
a date in July.

Knowing this, we must look into who truly has control over the US Government, who mans the oligarchy of power within the United States, who are those who have the power to say wh
at's what and what our next move will be.
I am also confident that no one will disagree when I say that this 'war on
terror'- including
the war on Iraq
- has been again
st our national
interests: a w
ar into which we had no reason to go headlong and one that has given so much fuel to the hate against our nation in the Middle Eastern World (those who understand that our foreign policy is governed by our unconditional subservience to the United States
and support of Israel). This is not to mention the outright lies about 'weapons of mass destruction', the claims that Saddam Hussein was a 'direct threat' to our nation, and that those who waged war on America and the Western World by crashing two planes into the World Trade Centre did so because they "hated our freedom."
It was because of the pro-Israel oligarchy within the US Government and the total Jewish control of the news and entertainment media in America - a more powerful weapon than bombs and
missiles, and one that can change the minds of millions and manipulate the world - that those planes struck.
This is far from an 'anti-Se
mitic' statemen
t by some wild-eyed
'racist'. It is, rather, a fact
easily confirmed by research. I hope this short essay will encourage some to do a little more research and to make decisions for themselves on these issues.

Due to the United Kingdom's unconditional support of the US Government - and the latter's and our unconditional support of Israel - we are the country which, next to the US, is most likely to be attacked by terrorists. We have let J

Later, Mr. Moran fell on his knees and apologised - but the facts remain the same. On this side of the ocean, long-time MP Tam
Dalyell, in an interview with Vanity Fair magazine last May, referred to a Jewish 'cabal'. Later, defending
this on Radio Four's '

'The cabal that I referred to was in the
US... There is far too much Jewish influence in the United States.'
And he went on to say of one body:

and [Ari] Fleischer [Mr Bush's press secretary]. Those people drive this policy.'
Dalyell said that the Government of the US is "being unduly influenced by a cabal of Jewish advisers." He also confirmed Jewish influence in Britain,

endous drive to sort out the Middle East.'

Just 60 years ago, British forces were lions on the global stage; we had
military and civil forces to be reckoned with. news on this score, is that while British soldiers ris
k life and limb obeying the British Government's orders to act as peacekeepers in various parts of th
e world, the people who are not too happy with British troops patrolling their streets can take pot shots at our boys with impunity. Not just that, if you really don't like a British presence on your streets, then sue the British Army.
Alice-in-Wonderland
In an Alice-in-Wonderland scenario, two Albanians yesterday (7th) won compensation from the Ministry of Defence for "injuries and trauma suffered" when they were allegedly fired upon by British peacekeepin
g troops in the Kosovo capital, Pristina in July 1999.
Mr Justice Elias, at the High Court in London, ruled the MoD was liable for negligence following the incident, when British paratroopers shot and killed Fahri Mohamet Bici, a Kosovan who had fired an AK-47 assa
ult rifle into the air.
Th
e dead man's cousins, Mohamet Bici, 27, who was shot in th
e jaw, and Skender Bici, 28, who has suffered psychiatric
illness as a result of what he witnessed, sued for damages even though the soldiers were cleared of any wrongdoin
g by the Military Police. It is the first time someone injured abroad by British peacekeeping forces has successfully sued for damages.
The amount is to be assessed at a later date.
Not surprisingly, some experts said the ruling set a "potentially very difficult precedent" for the army.
Wait...it get's better!
The Kosovans, who were travelling in a car with several others, were warned twice to stop firing into the air near a tall building that was home to
a group of about 50 Serbs. The British soldiers shot at the car after it carried on despite instructions to stop.
Mohamet Bici was airlifted from Kosovo to Leeds for medical treatment. Both men, who were not in court, are now settled with t
heir families in the UK
. The medical treatment was paid for British taxpayers.

r>Judge, Mr Justice Elias, who also found the MoD liable for
trespass to person in the case of Mohamet Bici, said: "The Queen's uniform is not a licence to commit wrongdoing, an
d it has never been suggested that it should be.
"The army should be held accountable for such shortcomings, even where the victims are from the very community which has benefited so much from the army's assistance. A proper system of justice requires no less."
The judge dismissed the MoD's defences of combat immunity and that, in the circumstances, the soldiers did not owe the claimants a duty of care. And he rejected a claim that the soldiers acted in self-defence.
The ruling caus
ed some to question the implications for future peacekeeping operations by British troops.
"Barmy judge"
Mr. Justice Elias was the culprit behind this decision which most British taxpayers will find totally
barmy. If Jus
tice Elias was sitting on the bench in 1916 one wonders what he mi
ght have made of the holocausts taking place every day in the tr
enches of hell on the Western Front.
This is not the first controversial decision made by Justice Elias. He is a champion
of the politically correct lobby. For example, in 1991 he said that five years for a woman who killed her husband with an axe was "excessive" and reduced the sentence to three and a half years. In 2002, he made sure that privately funded Christian schools did not issue corporal punishment on their wayward pupils, much to the frustration of teachers and paying parents alike.
With people such as Mr. Justice Elias allowed to freely wander the legal chambers making decisions like that, who needs a New Labour Government?

Asian rapist faces hefty prison sentence

A restaurant worker is facing a lengthy jail sentence after being convicted yesterday of raping a schoolgirl and a barmaid he picked up in his car.
Tanveer Nazir (23) attacked the two young women in just two months after cruising the streets of Oldham looking for victims.
Nazir launched an
attack on each after offering them a lift home late at night.
In each cas
e the women - aged 14 and 23 - who had both attended th
e same town centre nightclub prior to the attack, were raped after they reje
cted Nazir's advances.
But DNA evidence he left behind stood only a billion to one chance of belonging to anyone other than him.
Both wome
n were forced to relive their ordeal in court after Nazir, of Wellington Road, Coppice, claimed they had consented to sex.
A jury at Manchester's Minshull Street Crown Court took just three-and-a-half hours to convict him of both rapes yesterday. Nazir, who wept as the verdicts were returned, was remanded into custody as Judge Timothy Mort adjourned sentence until May.
Earlier, prosecutor Miss Beverley Lunt told how 23-year-old Miss A was raped on April 20, 2003, after she finished her shift at a town centre nightclub at 2.30am.
She was walking home after an argument with a colleague when Nazir pulled up in a white car. She accepted a l
ift, but he drove away from where she wan
ted to get out and raped her in
the car.
Miss Lunt saud the second rape
occurred on 21 June after 14-year-old Miss B, from Milnrow, Rochdale, had spent
the evening with friends at an Oldham nightclub.
She was walking down Horsedge Street some time after 2am when a red car stopped and Nazir offered her a
lift. She accepted but he didn't drop her where she requested and parked on a dirt track where he raped her.
Nazir was arrested on July 12 driving a red car. It emerged he also had access to his father's white car.
He initially refused to answer police questions but later said he had engaged in consensual sex with both.

nded "a danger to women" when convicted of the rapes in Finland.
He arrived in Britain in 1998 and is still here - despite having a bid for asylum reje
cted.
Hersi has been under investigation in the UK for alleged cruelty, assault and indecent assault and was committed to a crown court for trial. But the charges against him were dropped.
He is now believed to be living in the Acton area of West London.
Hersi was jailed for a horrific rape in Helsinki in September 1992. At the time he was working as a male nurse and picked up his victim in a suburban restaurant.
He grabbed her as she tried to hail a cab, beat her to the ground with an umbrella, throttled her into semi-consciousness - and raped her.
Astonishingly, he was jailed for just 20 months.
His lawyer told the court t
hat in Somalia women were regarded completely different
ly
than in Finland. In October
1994 he met a 38-year-old secretary in another restaurant.
As they left together
he seized her, hit her in the face and began strangling her.
The woman pleaded and told him she had just had surgery for ovarian cancer. But he throttled her until she w
as unconscious and raped her.
He was jailed for just two years and seven months - and was freed in January 1996.
A detective said: "This was one of the worst cases I have ever been involved with. He was like an animal."
Hersi, who has five children, appealed in August 2003 against the refusal to grant him asylum. The appeal was thrown out the next month.
Sir Teddy Taylor, Tory MP for Rochford and Southend, Essex, said last
night: "This is an appalling case. It is a typical example of what is wrong with the immigration system. We must come to more speedy decisions and cut down the abuse of repeated fatuous a
ppeals."

Dalyell, in an interview with Vanity Fair magazine last May, referred to a Jewish 'cabal'. Later, defending
this on Radio Four's '

'The cabal that I referred to was in the
US... There is far too much Jewish influence in the United States.'
And he went on to say of one body:
'That is the Jewish Institute for National Security Affairs. I was thinking of [Paul] Wolfowitz, Deputy Defence Minister [Richard] Perle, [John] Bolton, Assistant Secretary of State, [Douglas] Feith, [Ken] Adelman, [Elliot] Abrams
and [Ari] Fleischer [Mr Bush's press secretary]. Those people drive this policy.'
Dalyell said that the Government of the US is "being unduly influenced by a cabal of Jewish advisers." He also confirmed Jewish influence in Britain,

'I am worried about my country being led up the garden path on a Likudnik [Ariel] Sharon agenda... Straw, Mandelson & Co. are leading a trem
endous drive to sort out the Middle East.'

Alice-in-Wonderland
In an Alice-in-Wonderland scenario, two Albanians yesterday (7th) won compensation from the Ministry of Defence for "injuries and trauma suffered" when they were allegedly fired upon by British peacekeepin
g troops in the Kosovo capital, Pristina in July 1999.
Mr Justice Elias, at the High Court in London, ruled the MoD was liable for negligence following the incident, when British paratroopers shot and killed Fahri Mohamet Bici, a Kosovan who had fired an AK-47 assa
ult rifle into the air.

e dead man's cousins, Mohamet Bici, 27, who was shot in th
e jaw, and Skender Bici, 28, who has suffered psychiatric
illness as a result of what he witnessed, sued for damages even though the soldiers were cleared of any wrongdoin
g by the Military Police. It is the first time someone injured abroad by British peacekeeping forces has successfully sued for damages.
The amount is to be assessed at a later date.
Not surprisingly, some experts said the ruling set a "potentially very difficult precedent" for the army.
Wait...it get's better!
The Kosovans, who were travelling in a car with several others, were warned twice to stop firing into the air near a tall building that was home to
a group of about 50 Serbs. The British soldiers shot at the car after it carried on despite instructions to stop.
Mohamet Bici was airlifted from Kosovo to Leeds for medical treatment. Both men, who were not in court, are now settled with t
heir families in the UK
. The medical treatment was paid for British taxpayers.

r>Judge, Mr Justice Elias, who also found the MoD liable for
trespass to person in the case of Mohamet Bici, said: "The Queen's uniform is not a licence to commit wrongdoing, an
d it has never been suggested that it should be.
"The army should be held accountable for such shortcomings, even where the victims are from the very community which has benefited so much from the army's assistance. A proper system of justice requires no less."
The judge dismissed the MoD's defences of combat immunity and that, in the circumstances, the soldiers did not owe the claimants a duty of care. And he rejected a claim that the soldiers acted in self-defence.
The ruling caus
ed some to question the implications for future peacekeeping operations by British troops.
"Barmy judge"
Mr. Justice Elias was the culprit behind this decision which most British taxpayers will find totally
barmy. If Jus
tice Elias was sitting on the bench in 1916 one wonders what he mi
ght have made of the holocausts taking place every day in the tr
enches of hell on the Western Front.
This is not the first controversial decision made by Justice Elias. He is a champion
of the politically correct lobby. For example, in 1991 he said that five years for a woman who killed her husband with an axe was "excessive" and reduced the sentence to three and a half years. In 2002, he made sure that privately funded Christian schools did not issue corporal punishment on their wayward pupils, much to the frustration of teachers and paying parents alike.
With people such as Mr. Justice Elias allowed to freely wander the legal chambers making decisions like that, who needs a New Labour Government?

Asian rapist faces hefty prison sentence

A restaurant worker is facing a lengthy jail sentence after being convicted yesterday of raping a schoolgirl and a barmaid he picked up in his car.
Tanveer Nazir (23) attacked the two young women in just two months after cruising the streets of Oldham looking for victims.
Nazir launched an
attack on each after offering them a lift home late at night.
In each cas
e the women - aged 14 and 23 - who had both attended th
e same town centre nightclub prior to the attack, were raped after they reje
cted Nazir's advances.
But DNA evidence he left behind stood only a billion to one chance of belonging to anyone other than him.
Both wome
n were forced to relive their ordeal in court after Nazir, of Wellington Road, Coppice, claimed they had consented to sex.
A jury at Manchester's Minshull Street Crown Court took just three-and-a-half hours to convict him of both rapes yesterday. Nazir, who wept as the verdicts were returned, was remanded into custody as Judge Timothy Mort adjourned sentence until May.
Earlier, prosecutor Miss Beverley Lunt told how 23-year-old Miss A was raped on April 20, 2003, after she finished her shift at a town centre nightclub at 2.30am.
She was walking home after an argument with a colleague when Nazir pulled up in a white car. She accepted a l
ift, but he drove away from where she wan
ted to get out and raped her in
the car.
Miss Lunt saud the second rape
occurred on 21 June after 14-year-old Miss B, from Milnrow, Rochdale, had spent
the evening with friends at an Oldham nightclub.
She was walking down Horsedge Street some time after 2am when a red car stopped and Nazir offered her a
lift. She accepted but he didn't drop her where she requested and parked on a dirt track where he raped her.
Nazir was arrested on July 12 driving a red car. It emerged he also had access to his father's white car.
He initially refused to answer police questions but later said he had engaged in consensual sex with both.

nded "a danger to women" when convicted of the rapes in Finland.
He arrived in Britain in 1998 and is still here - despite having a bid for asylum reje
cted.
Hersi has been under investigation in the UK for alleged cruelty, assault and indecent assault and was committed to a crown court for trial. But the charges against him were dropped.
He is now believed to be living in the Acton area of West London.
Hersi was jailed for a horrific rape in Helsinki in September 1992. At the time he was working as a male nurse and picked up his victim in a suburban restaurant.
He grabbed her as she tried to hail a cab, beat her to the ground with an umbrella, throttled her into semi-consciousness - and raped her.
Astonishingly, he was jailed for just 20 months.
His lawyer told the court t
hat in Somalia women were regarded completely different
ly
than in Finland. In October
1994 he met a 38-year-old secretary in another restaurant.
As they left together
he seized her, hit her in the face and began strangling her.
The woman pleaded and told him she had just had surgery for ovarian cancer. But he throttled her until she w
as unconscious and raped her.
He was jailed for just two years and seven months - and was freed in January 1996.
A detective said: "This was one of the worst cases I have ever been involved with. He was like an animal."
Hersi, who has five children, appealed in August 2003 against the refusal to grant him asylum. The appeal was thrown out the next month.
Sir Teddy Taylor, Tory MP for Rochford and Southend, Essex, said last
night: "This is an appalling case. It is a typical example of what is wrong with the immigration system. We must come to more speedy decisions and cut down the abuse of repeated fatuous a
ppeals."
