Toronto Police Service Hold Up is releasing security camera video of a bank robbery suspect and seeking assistance identifying him.

This male suspect is believed to be responsible for a series of five financial robberies in Toronto, Durham Region and London.

It is reported that:

- on Saturday, April 7, 2018, at 10:10 a.m., a man entered a bank near Yonge Street and Wellesley Street West wearing an "LA" baseball cap, dark sunglasses, and a scarf around the lower portion of his face, in an attempt to conceal his identity

- he approached a Customer Service Representative and placed a blue backpack on the counter

- he put his hand inside the backpack and made a verbal demand for money, indicating he had a gun in the bag

- he was given a quantity of money and exited the branch

It is further reported that the same man is also wanted for four other bank robberies that took place:

- on Thursday, April 12, 2018, at 10:40 a.m., on King Avenue West in Newcastle, Ontario

- on Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at 10:30 a.m., in the Bloor Street West and Spadina Avenue area, where he had a black beard and moustache

- on Friday, May 18, 2018, at 9:30 a.m., in the Oxford Street East and Richmond Street area, of London, Ontario

- on Saturday, May 26, 2018, at 3:15 p.m., in the Kingston Road and Victoria Park Avenue area


On Wednesday, December 5, 2018, investigators released the suspect vehicle information.

It is believed that the man was driving a 2014-2016, two-door Mercedes CLA 250, white in colour, during the robbery in London, Ontario on Friday, May 18, 2018.

The man has been described as having light brown complexion, 25-35 years old, 6', with dark facial hair. During the robberies, he wears dark sunglasses and his hair is covered with a baseball hat.
