Police Arrest Suspects Wanted For 'Bug Spray' Robbery

Police have arrested two females, they say, robbed a Virginia Beach check cashing store armed with bug spray.
Virginia Beach officials say the robbery happened around 10:20am Thu
sday at the Express Cash Checking location in the Kempsriver Shopping Center near Indian River and Kempsville Roads.
Police say the women sprayed the clerk with bug repellant -- took an undetermined

nt of cash -- and left in a silver Mitsubishi Gallant.
The car was eventually traced to a Norfolk address in the 9200 block of Rippard Avenue Thursday afternoon, where police
arrested two women living at the address: 24-year old Lakeisha Franklin, and 25-year old Tamika Haywood.
Both are charged with robbery, conspiracy, and abduction. Both are being held without bond.
