A suspected serial rapist was scared off in an attempted attack and now police have another sketch of the man -- a sketch that they hope will help catch him.
Aurora police said the man tried to rape a woman on Aug. 3 at a home in the 9800 block of East Hawaii Place. She screamed and the man ran away. However, she was able to help police draw another sketch of the suspect, which they released Thursday.

hows the man wearing glasses and a cap but his physical description is the same -- a muscular, bald, black man between 6 feet and 6 feet 3 inches tall who has a scar on his nose.
The man has been linked by DNA to at least six sex
ual assaults in the metro area.
Aurora police are also awaiting DNA analysis to determine if the same man is responsible for three separate sexual assaults between Jan. 2 and June 20, along with an additional burglary on July 30.
"We want folks to be aware and cautious," said Aurora police spokesman Marcus Dudley. "If people see or notice things that make them uncomfortable, or if they see someone fitting the description, they shouldn't hesitate to call police and to get to a safe place."
