Man Gets 60 Years For Home Invasion, Rape
A 27-year-old Naperville man was sentenced to 60 years in prison Monday for raping the teenage daughter of a Warrenville city official after forcing his way into the family's home and tying up the girl's parents.
A DuPage County judge convicted Damon Jones of home invasion, armed robbery and aggravated criminal sexual assault in the April 13, 2003, attack.
Jones, who was accompanied that night by two other men, allegedly tied up the 17-year-old's parents before raping her in another room in the west suburban house. The men then robbed the home and left.
Judge Michael Burke, who convicted Jones last October, imposed the prison sentence.
