Salinan arrested on sex charges
Darius E. Thomas, 23, 1508 E. Beloit, Apt. 1, was arrested Tuesday in connection with the rape, sodomy and kidnapping of a Salina woman.
The 19-year-old victim reported to police Monday that she had been raped, sodomized and held against her will at a northwest Salina apartment between Dec. 5 and Dec. 8, according to Deputy Salina Police Chief Mike Marshall.
The victim reported the incidents to workers at Salina Regional Health Center, where she was being treated Monday for issues unrelated to the rape, Marshall said.
