Memphis Man Indicted In Woman's Death
A Memphis man has been indicted in the slaying of a woman found shot in the head and stuffed in the trunk of her car. Durrell Nash was indicted yesterday on one count of first-degree murder. He was arrested July 23rd, nine days after police found the body of Thelma Louise Brooks in her car in the parking lot of Cypress Elementary School. Brooks and Nash both worked in building maintenance for Memphis schools. Police have given no motive for the killing. Nash is jailed without bond.
