Arrest made in Pembroke Park homicide

A Miami-Dade man has been arrested in connection with the December Pembroke Park slaying of Jameson Sacerdote.
On Tuesday, Broward Sheriff's Office homicide detectives arrested Wayne Favors, 24, of Miami, and charged him with murder while engaged in a felony offense. Detectives said th
y believe the killing was drug related.
Sacerdote, 22, was brought to Memorial Regional Hospital by a friend shortly before 2 a.m. on Dec. 21. The Oakland Park resident died at the hospital and homi
cide
detectives were notified of the shooting.
Investigators determined that Sacerdote was
shot on an access road behind the Coca Cola bottling company in Pembroke Park.
Because the investigation is ongoing and further arrests are expected, detectives are not releasing any further information.
