Feinstein Urges DHS to Forgive "Law-abiding" Illegal Aliens
Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) sent a letter to DHS Undersecretary Asa Hutchinson last Friday urging cancellation of removal for "law-abiding" long-term resident illegal aliens with children born in the U.S. The Executive Office for Immigration Review can approve up to 4,000 cancellations of removal annually, but has yet to meet that cap. Feinstein believes they should grant more approvals and has introduced several private bills to allow "special" illegal aliens to remain in the U.S.
