Boy, 17, shot while sitting in car in NYC: cops​

A 17-year-old boy was shot as he sat inside a car in Brooklyn early Tuesday, police said.
The teen was a backseat passenger of a vehicle at East 29th Street and Clarendon Road in Flatbush around 12:30 a.m. when a bullet flew into the car and struck him in the back, cops said.
He was taken in a private vehicle means to the Kings County Hospital Center, where he was listed in stable condition.
Police could not immediately confirm whether he was the intended target, and the motive for the shooting is under investigation.
Two men fled in an unknown direction and no arrests have been made, cops said.
The shooting came less than an hour after a 27-year-old man was grazed in the back at the corner of West 112th Street and St. Nicholas Avenue in Harlem, police said.

He was taken to Harlem Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.


The suspect fled on St. Nicholas Avenue and has not been caught, cops said.


Another man, 33, suffered a graze wound in Harlem early Tuesday, police said.


The victim was clipped in the shoulder when a shot was fired on Amsterdam Avenue near West 133rd Street around 4:30 a.m., authorities said.
