Here's a warning if you're trying to rent out your apartment. A student had advertised her suite on a Korean website. She had several phone conversations with a potential renter, and when he showed up yesterday, he attacked her. She was punched in the face, thrown around the apartment and choked until she was unconscious. She has a bad head wound but should be OK. Vancouver Police say the guy didn't steal anything so t
e Sexual Offence Squad has been called in. The suspect is Korean, in his early 20's and apparently spoke no English. It's possible he also has some cuts and bruises from the struggle.
