The incident occurred in a small town in western Värmland last autumn.
Late in the evening, the men forced their way into the home and attacked the father in the house.
They beat him down in the kitchen and dragged him outside the house where the beating continued with kicks and punches.
The assault took place in front of the man's family.

The perpetrator was recognized

After the attack, the men fled the scene, but one of the attackers was recognized by the beaten man, and in this way the police were able to find and arrest the six suspects.

Connection to motorcycle gang

The perpetrators are connected to the motorcycle gang Bandidos, one of them is a full member, four belong to the support gang X-Team.
The sixth is described as having other connections to the gang.
All were sentenced on Thursday for their involvement in the assault to prison, the longest sentence being two years and eleven months.
Among the criminal classifications are, among other things, serious breach of domestic peace and serious assault.
The Värmland district court also sentences the men to pay damages.

A villa in Huddinge used as a headquarters by the Bandidos. The club was evicted from the premises in 2013.[193]

Police in Sweden believe that the Bandidos Motorcycle Club makes money primarily through illegal activities, including drug offenses, violent crimes, protection activities, robberies, extortion, weapons offenses, illegal gambling, money laundering and other economic crimes.[194] According to a police report from 2018, 88% of Bandidos members in the country are convicted criminals, having been convicted of a total of 2,096 crimes.[195] The Swedish Bandidos have run extensive extortion rackets by offering restaurants and bars "protection" from other criminal gangs.[196] The club has eight chapters in Sweden[197] and has prominently recruited members of non-Swedish ethnicity.[198] Affiliates of the Bandidos in Sweden include the Chicanos, Diablos and X-Team.[199]
