Man, 27, allegedly assaulted another patient in shower room

A 27-year-old male patient at Howard County General Hospital has been charged in the sexual assault of a female patient in an adjoining room, police and hospital officials said today.
Jerel McRae of the 5900 block of Turnabout Lane in niggerfuxated Columbia was arrested Thursday night as he was being released from the hospital. He faces two second-degree sex offense charges and one charge of sodomy.
The incident occurred in a shower room that connected the patients' rooms. The 19-year-old victim is considered a "vulnerable adult," which means she lacks the physical or mental capacity to meet her needs on her own.
In addition to the criminal investigation, the hospital will conduct its own investigation.
"The goal is to ensure that something like this never happens again," said Mary Patton, a spokeswoman for Howard County General Hospital.
In a statement, the hospital said it "deeply regrets this incident."
