Dog walker blinded in one eye afer being whipped with belt in ‘unprovoked’ attack

A man in his 40s completely lost sight in one eye after a thug whipped him in the face with a belt. Police say the victim was walking a dog through Memorial Park in Langley, Slough, Berkshire, when he was approached by a group of four men. One of them asked the target for a cigarette before removing his belt and whipping him in the face. He completely lost his vision in one eye and it is not known if it will ever be recovered. Thames Valley police are seeking a female dog walker who they believe could have witnessed the incident.
The victim attended two hospitals in the area for treatment and has now been discharged. Authorities say the man who whipped him is black, in his early to mid-20s and around 5ft tall. He was of slim build, had an afro style haircut and was wearing a brown knee length coat and a dark fur-lined hood. Another man from the group, who was wearing a red coat, is described as being around 6ft 4 inches tall, white, with spiked blonde hair.
