A Mesa man who worked with disabled children has been arrested on suspicion of molesting two girls, police said.

Charles L. Parrish, 26, was booked Sunday into a Phoenix jail on suspicion of two counts of child molestation.

Parrish is accused of having the two girls, ages 7 and 8, undress in front of him and put on underwear as he photographed them, records indicate. Parrish also admitted fondling at least one of the girls and told detectives he downloaded child pornography on his computer, records indicate.

Mesa Police Sgt. Ruben Quesada said Parrish had befriended the girls' families and they were allowed to spend the night
t his apartment.

"Thankfully, these two children came to their families and let them know they were molested," Quesada said.

Because Parrish worked with disabled children, police say
they believe there may be other victims who have not yet come fo
rward.

Parrish worked through different contract-based referral companies and may have worked with about 10 children ages 3 to 12 over the years, Quesada said. Parrish's apartment also doubled as a care facility.
