Fort Leonard Wood Soldier Charged with Murder
A soldier from Fort Leonard Wood is accused of murdering another soldier.
The charges stem from an incident at a St. Robert nightclub on August 9.
The Pulaski County Sheriff says
Private Miguel Angel Campos
got into a fight that night at a club called Electra`s.
Sheriff J.B. King says five people were stabbed during that fight. Two others were hit by a car and pinned against the building.
One of those two people pinned, Lt. Brian Shoebridge, died Tuesday of his injuries. King said Shoebridge was an innocent bystander.
Prosecutors Tuesday charged Campos with second degree murder. A preliminary hearing is scheduled September 13th.
AT LEAST ONE WHITE IDENTIFIED AS VICTIM. BOTH A KNIFE AND A VEHICLE WERE USED.
