Police in two communities need your help finding a bold, armed robber striking area pawn shops.

In the most recent robbery, police say the suspect fired his gun coming within several inches of hitting a clerk. She was not hurt.

Police in Cincinnati and Silverton are concerned this suspect could only become more violent if not caught.

It was in the middle of the day on Monday when the masked man walked into the Cash America on Montogomery Road in Silverton and announced

r
a hold-up as frightened customers took cover.

"He pointed his gun at several patrons in the establishment, herded the
m into the corner and wanted the clerk to give him cash and jewelry," said Lieutenant Bruce Plummer of Silverton Police.

Just a few days prior, Cincinnati Police believe the same suspect robbed the Cash America on Reading Road in Roselawn.

Surveillance pictures captured a photo which shows part of the suspect's face.

Police say on Wednesday they believe the same man, wearing the same makeshift ski mask used in the Silverton robbery, struck for a third time.

Once again, it was during the daytime hours.

"At the first robbery he displayed a handgun but no shots fired. At second there was a shot fired and a bullet lodged in the wall behind the clerk," said Mary Thompson-Cowan of Cincinnati Police.

Silverton and Cincinnati police are comparing notes. Their concern is he could strike again soon.

"We rea
lly
ne
ed this guy picked up because I'm afraid the next time he may hurt someone," Thompson-Cowan said.

From the robberies, police say the suspect got away with cash and 27
diamond rings.

Other area pawn shops have been put on notice.
