SANFORD, N.C. -- The man accused of killing an 11-year-old Lee County boy faced a judge for the first time Thursday as questions mount about why he was on the streets in the first place.

Victor Jermaine Gamble, 19, was charged with first-degree murder, kidnapping, breaking and entering, larceny, and possession of stolen goods.

Police believe Gamble, and possibly another person, broke into the home Monday where Brad
ey Way was staying alone. Investigators said the suspects stole jewelry from the home, beat Bradley to death and then dumped his body in mobile home about 300 yards away.

Fingerprints in the Way'
s home led authorities to Gamble. They also said he attempted to pawn some of the jewe
lry at a local pawn shop.

Chief Deputy Kevin Bryant, of the Lee County Sheriff's Office, said investigators were bittersweet about the progress made in the case

"Certainly, we feel for the family. But, we are certainly ecstatic about the arrest and we do feel that we have a strong case against the suspect," Bryant said.

Even with the arrest, some are questioning how the crime happened in the first place.

Gamble has a lengthy criminal record, but a search of court records conducted by NBC 17 shows he only served a handful of days in jail and even violated his probation in the past.

Gamble was on intensive probation for a May conviction of breaking and entering in Harnett Coun
ty. That probation allowed Gamble to go to work during the day, but required him to be back in his residence by 6 p.m. each day.

The intensive probation did not require any electronic monitoring
device. Instead, Gamble's probation officer was supposed to check on him a couple times a week, according to the Depart
ment of Corrections.

Karen Rogers is part of a Lee County anti-crime coalition. She said she was outraged when she learned of Gamble's prior record.

"If this young man had been serving time for some of the crimes that he does have on his record, this young boy would still be alive today," Rogers told NBC 17.

Authorities said Gamble lived near the Way family at some point during the past. A family friend also told NBC 17 Gamble might have done some home improvement for the family.

Gamble is being held at the Lee County jail without bond.

LEE COUNTY -- An 11-year-old boy whose body was found Monday in an abandoned trailer died of a blow to the head, according to preliminary autopsy results.
Authorities found few other clues Tuesday about the death of Bradley Eugene Way, a rising fifth-grader who was home alone while his par
nts worked, Lee County sheriff's officials said.

Investigators found no witnesses to the killing and had no suspect, Capt. James Estes said.

"We have very little to go on, but we are
working around the clock," Estes said.

Bradley's father, Bailey Christopher Way, came home from work at 5 p.m. Mon
day and reported his son missing.

Estes said Way had left his mobile home on J.J. Lane at 7 a.m. and hadn't talked to Bradley during the day, which was not out of the ordinary. When he got home, a window was broken, and Bradley was gone.

Usually, the boy stayed inside during the day while his father and stepmother worked. Two younger children who also lived there were not home Monday, Estes said.

After an hourlong search, sheriff's deputies found Bradley's body in an abandoned trailer on Cypress Farm Road, a few hundred yards from his house through a stand of trees.

Authorities blocked several roads Tuesday in the neighborhood of mobile ho
mes on large lots, in an isolated patch of southern Lee County near the Moore County border. Officers encircled Bradley's home with crime scene tape and spent all day collecting evidence.

The
Way family gathered at the home of Bradley's aunt, who lives next door. Relatives declined to talk to reporters.

A neighbor who came out to get her mail s
aid the family was "not doing very well."

Some residents in the rural neighborhood got together Tuesday to discuss the death and wait for news of an arrest.

"I just want to hear that they got someone," said Jim Murphy, 42, who also is rearing an 11-year-old boy in the neighborhood.

Murphy's son, Dillon, rode the bus with Bradley to Greenwood Elementary in the nearby Lemon Springs community. He said the boy lived up the road for several years but rarely came out to ride bikes and play with other children.

"It's nothing for us to have 10 kids at the house," Murphy said. "But you n
ever saw him."

Murphy said that the neighborhood is generally safe but that he has seen some drug activity during his 15 years there. He said he wouldn't feel safe leaving his son ho
me alone.

Sheriff's officials said the neighborhood has about the same amount of crime as other areas of the county.

Lisa Poe, 34, another neighbor, said she sees Bradley's father, who goes by the name Chris, only in passin
g. She said that Chris Way installed vinyl siding for a living and sometimes ran into her husband, who also installs siding. One time, he took Bradley to a job site with him, Poe said.

In the neighborhood, Poe said, Bradley was nearly invisible.

She said the abandoned mobile home where Bradley was found was not a common play spot for neighborhood children such as her 8-year-old son.

"My son plays at a house right near there, and he didn't know about it," Poe said.

Ollie Angel, principal at Greenwood Elementary, said teachers were sho
cked at Bradley's death.

He said that Bradley, who played youth baseball, had attended the school since kindergarten and was an exuberant child with many friends at school.

&qu
ot;He had a lot of energy that was always just a pleasure to see," Angel said. "He was a little fellow that any teacher would be glad to have in their classroom."

Angel said he will talk with the family to decide how Bradley will be remembered when school resumes.

When 85 IQ, uncivilized n-gger predators are unleashed on a (mostly) brainwashed white society, incidents like this one where an innocent young boy is killed are the end result. This is just a microcosm of what occurs on a daily basis all throughout the U.S., year in and year out. If this demonic black beast had been back in Africa where he belongs, young Bradley would still be alive and undoubtedly would have a promising future ahead of him. Instead his life was robbed by one, possibly two rabid n-ggers whose contributions to society are non-existent. The cowardly n-gger needs to die a slow, painful death for what he did to that child though we all know that won't happen anytime soon. Perhaps th
ough divine intervention he'll get his. One can only hope.

Amen to what Rick Dean says in his post!!

This news story is exactly why
I hate n-ggers so much. They were not content just to rob this house, but had to kill an innocent young white child. These (f**ks) should be (given a speedy and public trial by an impartial jury) ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hate n-ggers with a passion. Woe to any apeman that ever enters my house if I am there. His monkey soul will split hell wide open in that minute!! Cocked and locked for violent primates!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It would appear that the negro community has no idea how enraged decent Whites become over horrid crimes like this. I wish mainstream negros would come here, read these posts, and understand the heavy, heavy karma they are building up for themselves by not controlling the more savage members of their community. Afterall negros still only comprise 13% of the US population, so they are hardly in a position to believe that they are invincible, should push come to shove. From the crudity of Whoopi Goldberg to the sickening Wichita Massacre to the murder of this little boy, the unsuitability of "integration" becomes more obvious with every passing day. Living a normal life among negros is simply
not possible.

Living a normal life among negros is simply not possible.

That's why we should send them back to Afreaka!

Wake up America and smell the negro.

DA's Office Yet To Decide Whether Lee County Man Will Face Death

SANFORD, N.C. -- The Lee County district attorney says he needs more time before deciding if he will seek the death penalty in the murder of an 11-year-old boy.

On Tuesday, a Lee County grand jury indicted Victor Gamble on first-degree murder charges. Investigators say Gamble, 20, of Cameron, beat 11-year old Bradley Way to death after breaking into his home last week.

Investigators say they believe Gamble was surprised to find Way in the home.

Gamble is being held in the Lee County Jail without bond.

This is stupid, everybody faces death. None of us are getting out of here alive. However, this n-gger needs to die TODAY!

Sounds like this :suspect: Gambled and lost. Good riddance.

Only problem is this: Like the Carr :african:'s it will take decades before this spook finally hits the electric chair.

I wonder if the boy tried to stop the nig from robbing his home? Then again, non-whites don't seem to need even a BAD excuse for getting ridiculously violent or disgusting during some more basic crime like robbery or burglary. Reminds me of that item that Rick Dean and Bobster found where those mex's that were robbing a home stopped to beat a quadraplegic man to death and rape the woman.

To me, Mexivandals can be Vandals with a slightly lighter skin, that's all! Otherwise, they are as filthy as Vandals and Cockroaches!!!

Prosecutors Allowed To Seek Death Penalty Against Lee County Man

SANFORD, N.C. -- A judge in Lee County will allow the state to seek the death penalty in the case of a murdered 11-year-old boy.

Sheriff's investigators say Bradley Way was found dead in an abandoned trailer near his home last month. They believe Victor Gamble, 20, broke into the boy's house to rob it.

Investigators say Gamble ki
ked and stepped on Way so hard that he fractured his skull. The autopsy showed Way had footprints on his body.

After the judge's decision, prosecutors announced plans to seek the de
ath penalty
in the case.

Before the court hearing began, attorneys asked the judge to allow Gamble to change into regular clothes
. Attorneys believed Gamble's appearance in an orange jumpsuit may influence potential jurors.

The judge denied their request, but he allowed a second defense attorney be assigned to Gamble's case.

Way's family and Gamble's family declined to comment after the hearing was over.

Way's supporters wore black ribbons with Way's Little League number into court. Plans are under way to dedicate two signs in his memory when the season starts again this fall.
