Nigger bank robber murders White Cop
Chesapeake Police Officer, Bank Robbery Suspect, Shot and Killed Saturday Morning
A Chesapeake police officer was shot and killed while investigating a suspected bank robbery Saturday morning.
The alleged bank robbery suspect was also killed in the exchange of gunfire. A hostage was also shot and is listed in good condition.
The officer, 45-year old Michael Kevin Saffran, has been with the Chesapeake Police Department since November, 2004.

the shooting happened at the intersection of Highway 17 and Yadkin around 10:00am, following a robbery at the Bank of Hampton Roads branch in the 800 block of George Was
hington Highway.
According to police, the armed suspect - identified as Larry Donnell Blount - fled the bank but was stopped when the car he was in crashed into a guard rail a short distance away.
The arriving police officers pulled up behind the wrecked vehicle.
At that point, according to police, Blount pulled a female passenger from the vehicle and was using her as a hostage. The woman managed to break free and gunfire was exchanged between Blount and the officers.
The suspect and officer Saffran sustained gunshot wounds. Blount died at the scene and Saffran was transported to Norfolk General where he later died as a result of his injuries.
The hostage was struck in the leg by gunfire.
It is unclear how Blount came into contact with the vehicle and its occupants.

He then returned to the car and grabbed the woman.
Police say Blount, 43, of the 3500 block of R
aytee Drive in Chesapeake, had an extensive criminal history.
Saffran was a native of Baltimore, Maryland and the son of a Baltimore Police Officer. He retired from the United States Navy after 20 years of service as a Petty Officer 1st Class. He was transferred to the Hampton Roads area in 1991, where he remained until his retirement and subsequent acceptance into the Chesapeake Police Academy.
Officer Saffran is survived by his wife of 14 years and two children. Mrs. Saffran stated one of her husband's goals in life was to become a police officer. "He loved doing what he did; protecting the city".
A public viewing for Officer Saffran will be held Wednesday night from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the H.D. Oliver Funeral home at 1416 Cedar Road in Chesapeake.
