Alleged Rapist Found Sleeping In Woman's Bed

DELAWARE, Ohio -- Police said alleged rapist Robert Hammond, 22, was found sleeping in a woman's bed Saturday morning, NBC 4's John Ivanic reported.

"Robert broke into the residence, concealed his face, raped her and told her he'd kill her if she told police or did not comply," said Delaware police Sgt. Bruce Pijanowski.
The Delaware apartment is located along West Central Avenue.
"That's what so terrifying about this crime. She had no reason to believe she was
not safe that night," Pijanowski said. "She did everything she possibly could do to keep her safe. She had all the doors locked."
Hammond scaled
the outside of the building to gain entry, the Delaware Gazette reported.
"He had to climb up the railings on some decks," Pijanowski said. "There are decks on each apartment. He had to climb on the first floor, the second floor, then on the second-floor deck, he extended himself out (and) hung off the window."
The woman was able to escape the apartment and stop a motorist, who helped her contact police, Ivanic reported.

When authorities arrived at the apartment, Hammond was found asleep.
"For him to pass out and fall asleep is almost incomprehensible," Pijanowski said. (not really, no nigger behavior is shocking to us here at NNN)Police said they believe Hammond may have attacked other women.

uot;We have reason to believe he's done that before," Pijanowski said. "That's based on some of the actions at the crime scene. The way he prepared himself, the way he got into the apartment, the way he acted and actually, some
of the things he said during the crime."
