Son Sentenced for Killing Mom
CAMDEN, S.C. (AP) - A Kershaw County man has been sentenced to 40 years in prison after pleading guilty to shooting and killing his mother.
Prosecutors say Annie Belle Jones was shot four times in 2003 after she argued with her son about money and whether he would go out.
Charles Jones was sentenced Tuesday after pleading guilty to murder.
Prosecutor John Meadors says Jones will have to serve the entire sentence.
