HENDERSON, NV (FOX5) -

Henderson police are looking for a man who was caught on surveillance video robbing a casino while armed with a handgun.

Police said the man entered My Casino, located at 920 S. Boulder Hwy., about 12:35 a.m. on Monday, approached a cashier and demanded money. When the cashier hesitated, police said, the man waived his gun in the face of another employee.

The cashier handed an undisclosed amount of cash to the man, who then fled the casino.

The man is described as black, between 35 and 40 years, 5'9" tall and approximately 225 pounds. He was wearing a black fedora hat, dark sunglasses, dark shorts and a white polo shirt.

ROSEVILLE (WWJ) - Police are searching for the gunman who robbed another man while he was using an ATM at a bank in Roseville.

The incident happened around 9:30 p.m. Monday at the Bank of America on 12 Mile Road and Little Mack Avenue, just east of I-94.

According to police, a 36-year-old Roseville man walked up to the ATM and realized another man had walked up behind him. The victim told police he paid no attention to the man until he felt a poke in the back. When the victim turned around, he realized the man was poking him with a small, silver handgun, police said.

At that time, the suspect ordered the victim to hand over all of his money. Police say the victim, at gunpoint, withdrew $200 from his account and gave it to the suspect, who then ran to the west side of the bank where he had apparently left a bicycle. The gunman then fled westbound on 12 Mile Road and was last seen riding north on Harding Street.

Police say the victim was visibly shaken but otherwise uninjured.

The suspect is described as a black male, 20- to 25-years-old, about 5’8″ tall and 150 lbs. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and black face mask. He should be considered armed and dangerous.

BALTIMORE (WJZ) — The search is on for a man believed to have robbed more than a dozen stores in the Baltimore area. The FBI is asking for the public’s help to put him behind bars.


The suspect robbed 14 stores in less than two months–hitting some multiple times. He’s still on the loose and considered to be armed and dangerous.

Aurora Police Release Surveillance Images From Tie-Up Robberies

(STMW) – Four recent west suburban robberies may be related, and police are releasing surveillance photos of the suspects involved, police said.

The two most recent robberies happened Thursday night, roughly within 30 minutes, Aurora police said in a statement.

About 8:45 p.m., three robbers entered an Auto Zone in the 1000 block of East Galena Boulevard and tied up two employees, police said. They demanded cash from a third employee and ran away with the money.

About 9:10 p.m., three other men matching their description held up a Marathon Gas Station in the 1700 block of North Farnsworth Avenue, police said. A 58-year-old gas station employee said one of the suspect ordered him at gunpoint to open the register, and bound his wrists after grabbing cash and boxes of cigars.

The first robbery happened Tuesday at a Payday Loan Store in the 900 block of East New York Street, police said. They again bound the wrists of two employees and ran off with cash.

Suspects may be using a white crossover-type SUV, possibly driven by a fourth man.

No one was injured in any of the robberies, and the same suspects may have also robbed a gas station Thursday in neighboring North Aurora.

DETROIT (WWJ) – Crime Stoppers of Michigan is offering a cash reward up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of the man who robbed a Pepsi bottling plant at gunpoint.

It happened at around 8 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 23, at the facility at 1555 Mack Ave. near Dequindre in Detroit.

The suspect — who got away with “a large amount of cash — was described as a black male in his 30s; 5 feet, 5 inches tall to 5 feet, 7 inches tall with a medium complexion. He was wearing a blue Pepsi uniform with a blue hat.

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — Police on Friday were asking for assistance from the public in finding two suspects who held up a travel agency at gunpoint, and tied up the employees, in Howard Beach, Queens.

Around 9:45 a.m. Friday, the suspects – both of them carrying firearms, stormed into Liberty Travel at 156-40 Cross Bay Blvd. in Queens, police said. They ordered the six employees to the back of the store, police said.

In the back, the suspects zip-tied the employees and demanded to know where the safe was, police said. The suspects found the safe and took an undetermined amount of money, as well as the employees’ own money and phones, police said.

No injuries were reported.

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is investigating after one of two thieves pulled a gun on Wal-Mart greeters.

The armed robbery was at the Wal-Mart in the 7100 block of North Keystone.

According to police, two men skipped the cash register and walked out with an $800 television. When confronted by the Wal-Mart greeters, one of the suspects pulled out a gun. The two men then made a dash to a dark-colored SUV.

Wal-Mart released photos of the suspects.

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – St. Louis County police want to know if you recognize the man who robbed a South County pawn shop last Wednesday evening.

The 20- to 25-year-old black man used a hammer to break open the jewelry case at Cash America Pawn on Telegraph Road.

He grabbed some jewelry, and then threatened an employee with the hammer.

WATERFORD (WWJ) - Police are searching for the man who tied up a clerk and robbed an Oakland County cash advance store days before Christmas.

The incident happened around 12:35 p.m. last Tuesday at the Advance America store in the 4300 block of Highland, near Pontiac Lake Road in Waterford.

Police responded to a robbery call at the store and found a woman, the only employee working at the time, behind the counter with her hands and feet bound together with zip-ties.

The woman told police she was tied up by a black male who first entered the store around 11:30 a.m. requesting a loan application. The man left the store and returned about 20 minutes later with an incomplete application and a bank statement, police said.

The woman allegedly told the man he needed to complete the application before it could be processed, and he left the business a second time. When the man returned to the store for a third time, the woman told him he would not be eligible for an advance at that time, police said.

The man then allegedly reached over the counter, grabbed the victim by the hair and pointed a black pistol at her. The woman told police the man demanded money from the till before forcing her into a back room where he bound her hands and feet.

Police said the man left the store, but quickly returned and removed the cord from the phone at the woman’s work station. He then fled the scene in a burgundy-colored sedan.

The suspect is described as an older black male, approximately 5’10’’ tall and 170 lbs.
At the time, he was wearing a black hooded jacket, dark colored pants and black shoes. The victim notably told police the suspect had very large feet.

BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Baltimore’s most wanted is now off the streets. Police say the man they call the “khaki pants bandit” is responsible for a one man crime spree across Baltimore City and county.


Investigators say Stanley Macklin is responsible for nearly 50 armed robberies over the past few months.



Investigators say 35-year-old Stanley Macklin has been on a one man crime spree for months.

Described as a lone wolf, Macklin is accused in 19 armed robberies at convenience stores in the city and 31 in the county.
 
Police says shine arrested in Friday's west Louisville bank robbery is also charged in 4 cold case robberies

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police say they've arrested a suspect after they robbed a bank in west Louisville this morning.

It happened at the PNC Bank near the corner of Louis Coleman Jr. Drive and West Broadway, just after 11:30 a.m.

Police say the Curtis Williams, 36, robbed the bank, then tried to run away. Williams was arrested after a short foot chase that ended near the corner of 38th Street and River Park Drive.

LMPD now says Williams has also been charged in four other cold case robberies. A second suspect is being sought in Friday morning's robbery, but the only description police have now is that they're searching for a black male.
