I'm Patrick Tyndall, the Constitution Party candidate for the United States Senate.
I'm a former pastor, and for 19 years a Research & Development Engineer. My
wife and I live in the Upcountry, and we have five home-schooled daughters.
I'm running for the United States Senate because neither the Republicans nor the
Democrats are really representing the American people, and haven't for a long time.
A good example of this is the illegal immigration problem. Our country is being
invaded by millions of illegal aliens, and neither the Democrats nor the Republicans
are doing anything to stop it - even though over 80% of the A
erican people want
illegal immigration stopped.
The magnitude of this invasion is unprecedented. 20 to 30 million illegal aliens
are already in the United States, and thousands more are co
ming here every day.
And our federal government is not even t
rying to stop it! President Bush calls
illegal aliens "guest workers". And the head of the U.S. Border Patrol
recently admitted that the federal government is making no attempt to reduce the
number of illegal aliens in the United States.
I am the only candidate in this race who is actively opposing illegal immigration.
My opponents will scarcely even mention this issue, or admit it's even a problem.
Has Jim DeMint or Inez Tennenbaum even MENTIONED illegal immigration in any of the literature that they've mailed to your home? Or in any of their radio or TV advertisements?

I've been to t
he border recently, and I've seen first-hand where over 6000 illegal
aliens enter the United States every day. I've spoken with border-area residents
about the grave consequences of i
lleg
al immigration, which is costing American taxpayers billions of dollars per year in education, law enforcement, courts, prisons, and health care.
And I
've talked to people all over South Carolina who have already lost their
job because of illegal immigration. And those who are fortunate enough to still
have a job are seeing their wages driven ever downward by the vast number of illegal aliens in the job market. Thousands of other South Carolinians are losing their jobs to outsourcing.
And what about our national security? Terrorists from all over the world can
easily gain entry into the U.S. by simply walking across the Mexican border into
Arizona - already illegal immigrants from 26 different countries have been apprehended
there.
California
is a picture of America's future if illegal immigration is not stopped.
That state is 40 billion dollars in debt, and plagued by violent crime.
Have you heard of the FTAA,
the pro
posed Free Trade Area of the Americas, which
has the support of both major parties? The FTAA would link the United States economically
and politically to 34 other far less prosperous nati
ons in the Western Hemisphere.
The FTAA would further erode U.S. sovereignty and effectively erase our borders.
It would open the door for legal immigration to 500 million people from the Caribbean, and Central and South America.
Jim DeMint, my Republican opponent, supports the FTAA wholeheartedly.
Are either of the major parties really representing your interests?
Our federal budget is now 24 hundred billion dollars - the highest in history.
And despite all the taxes collected, we still have a 500 billion dollar deficit,
because our Republican-controlled congress doesn't have
the courage to say NO to
unconstitutional spending.
The trade deficit, due largely to our trade imbalance with Communist China, is
the largest in history, and will
likely excee
d 550 billion dollars this year.
And Jim DeMint, my Republican opponent, voted for Most Favored Nation trade status for Communist China - a country that routinely murders living, breathing baby girls as a means of
population control.
Jim DeMint has voted to fund Planned Parenthood, the nation's largest abortion
provider. And Jim DeMint has voted to fund a Health and Human services bill that
provides free birth control pills at your county Health Department to underage children,
even over the objection of their parents!
Is this what you want from your government? A vote for the Republicans or the
Democrats sends the message that you approve of their failed policies.
