Police Look for Answers in Bank Robbery

October 13, 2007 - The FBI is requesting the assistance of the public to identify and locate an individual alleged to be responsible for the robbery of the Wachovia Bank Branch at 253 Mall Boulevard, King of Prussia, on Saturday, October 13, 2007, shortly before noon.

The robber walked into the bank and presented a demand note to the teller. The teller gave the robber an undisclosed amount of money and the robber then fled on foot.

There were no injuries reported and no weapon was observed.

The robber is described as a black male in his 40's, approximately 6'0" tall, medium build, wearing a blue parka and a dark baseball cap.

The FBI is investigating similarities between this bank robbery and other bank robberies in Montgomery and Delaware Counties that have occurred on weekends in the past couple of months.

These include robberies of a Citizens Bank branch in Pottstown on September 9th, a Commerce Bank in Conshohocken on September 15th, and a Wachovia Bank in Pottstown on September 25th.
