UPPER CHICHESTER TWP., Pa. - The search is on for two bold robbers accused of pistol-whipping a McDonald's employee.

Surveillance video shows two suspects enter the McDonald's located on the 2300 block of Market Street in Upper Chichester just before 5 a.m. last Tuesday. The footage shows the female suspect head for the lone customer. That's when the female suspect allegedly robbed the customer at gun point while the male employee walked over to the manager and struck him on the head with a pistol, according to police.

The surveillance footage also shows the two suspects forcing the two employees and the customer in the back office where they empty the safe. According to authorities, the suspects then took cash from the front register. Police say the suspects got away with a few thousand dollars.

Police describe the male suspect as a slender black male, approximately 6'2," with a tattoo on the back of his right hand, which runs up his arm. The second suspect is described as a stocky black female and about 5'3" in height.

Upper Chichester Police believe the weapon used is very old. Investigators also believe the suspects are local because they seem like they knew the layout of the restaurant.
