Durham, NC -- The Durham Police Department has charged a man in connection with the armed robbery of three Duke students earlier this week in the Whole Foods parking lot on Broad Street.
Quentarious Passmore, 25, of 1309 Hudson St., Durham, has been charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon, said Durham Police public relations coordinator Kim Walker. He is being held at the Durham County Jail on a $200,000 bond.
Walker said a cell phone dropped at the crime scene led to the charge against Passmore.
An undergraduate woman and two graduate male students were robbed at gunpoint around 3 a.m. Tuesday. They were not injured in the incident.
Walker said police are still looking for a woman who was in a vehicle that drove away from the scene.
