HUMBLE, Texas -- Four men terrorized a family during a home invasion and detectives need help to catch them, KPRC Local 2 reported Thursday.
Harris County sheriff's deputies said the men forced open a door of a home in the 15000 block of Roche Rock near Humble at about 4:30 a.m. on May 11.
The men were dressed in police gear and armed with pistols, detectives said. Investigators said the men announced they were the police.

g room, officials said. The group bound the couple with duct tape and assaulted them, detectives said.
Three children were also in the home at the time of the attack, officials said.
Deputies said the men demanded cash and took several items from the home.
The group got away in a white Ford Crown Victoria with no license plates, officials said.
At about 7 a.m. that day, a credit card stolen during the home invasion was used at a Citgo station in the 12400 block of Almeda Road, investigators said.
The men were described as:
Robber No. 1: black, 20 to 30 years old, 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall with a light complexion and bulging eyes. He was last seen wearing black boots, black pants, a black shirt with "police" on the front and back and a black cap with "FBI" on the front. He was armed with a pistol.
Robber No. 2: black, 20 to 30 years old, 6 feet to 6 feet 5 inches tall, 170 to 180 pounds with a dark complexion and a tattoo on his left for
earm. He was last seen wearing black pants, black boots and a black shirt with "police" on the front and back. He was armed with a pistol.
Robber No. 3: Hispanic, 20 to 30 years old, 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall, 200 to 210 pounds. He was last seen wearing black boots, black pants and a black shirt with "police" on the front. He was armed with a pistol.
Robber No. 4: Hispanic, 30 to 40 years old, 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall, 220 to 240 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans. He used a walkie-talkie during the robbery.
Detectives said surveillance cameras captured images of two vehicles at the Citgo station, a gray car and a white truck. Several occupants of the vehicles matched the descriptions of the men involved in the home invasion.
