Shooting At Sheffield High School
A man was shot just after the game between rival teams Sheffield and Booker T. Washington. Eyewitnesses tell Eyewitness News that someone got out of a car outside the school and fired shots.
One person was injured and taken to the hospital. Eyewitness News is being told he is in non-critical condition.
Police are now looking for the shooter.
Memphis City Schools Spokesman Vince McCaskill says the shooting at the high school was not gang-related, but is not exactly sure what the motive is. Eyewitness News is also being told those involved in the shooting were not students at Sheffield High.
