Los Altos police are investigating the reported sodomy of a 15-year-old San Jose boy who said he was sexually assaulted by two men who offered him a ride home.
The teenager told police that Monday morning he was at Cuesta Park in Mountain View asking a woman for directions on how to catch a bus to San Jose when two men overheard him and offered him a ride.
He accepted, police said. During the ride, the men told him they needed to get money and pulled into a fenced-off lot with a camper trailer at an unknown location. He told
olice he was then taken inside and sodomized at knifepoint, said Sgt. Tom Connelly, who added that authorities are not sure it occurred in Los Altos.
The boy told police that, at one point, he managed
to fend off the assailants and escape, walking home to San J
ose. He reported the incident Wednesday.
``It is very strange, the occurrence itself. At this time, there is no reason to disbelieve what he is saying,'' Connelly said.
The assailants' vehicle is described as a light brown four-door sedan, possibly a Toyota Corolla or Nissan Sentra, with a pearl-colored rosary hanging from the rearview mirror.
The men are described as African-American, 18 to 20 years old. One spoke English and broken Spanish and had a dark mustache. He wore blue denim jeans, a black visor, black and white high-top shoes and a black T-shirt with the depiction of a nude woman on the back. The other spoke English. He had a dark goatee and wore a blue T-shirt, black pants, blue high-top shoes and blac
k plastic ring on middle finger of his right hand.
Anyone with information is asked to call detective Cameron Shearer at (650) 947-2818.
